Ik woon en werk in Utrecht. I live and work in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Mijn werk is geïnspireerd op de mens en de natuur. Het verwijst naar het voorbijgaan van tijd; de vergankelijkheid van alles en dat we altijd naar iets zoeken wat voor ons ligt, niet realiserend dat het al hier bij ons is, nu.
My art is inspired by man and nature. It refers to the passage of time, the impermanence of everything and that we are always looking for something ahead of us, not realizing that it is already here with us, right now.
Mijn werk is divers; van schilderijen (landschap en portret) tot textiel (weefsels, handmatig geverfd plooitextiel, getufte vloersculpturen) en is door particulieren, bedrijven, gemeente en theater aangekocht.
My art is diverse from paintings (landscape & portraits) to textiles (woven, hand dyed and pleated textiles, tufted floor sculptures) and purchased by individuals, businesses, municipality & theater.
In opdracht vervaardig ik portretten en textiel (als autonoom kunstwerk, als interieuraankleding of als basis voor een kledingstuk). Ik gebruik hiervoor hoogwaardige materialen.
On request I create portraits and textiles (as an autonomous work of art, as an interior decoration, or as the basis for a garment). For this I use high quality materials.
